Mainstream Media Time v. Blog Time
October 25, 2006 10:10 AM
There is a fascinating article in today's New York Post about how the mainstream media may be behind the curve on political news. If you look to them, the election is in the bag for the Democrats. Bloggers were on board with that conventional wisdom up until late last week.
Now they're (we're?) not so sure,
At some point last week, Republicans and conservatives on Blog Time began to cheer up, and Democrats and liberals on Blog Time began to worry. The head man at the hard-Left dailykos.com expressed his fear that Democrats had peaked too early, while the folks at the conservative redstate.com seemed sure that their team was saving itself from certain disaster.
Whose political ear is more finely tuned? The paid media? Or the bloggers?
