Too often we forget Lynne Cheney...
October 27, 2006 09:47 PM
We don't know if it is the bizarre role that a "second lady" has to play in our body politic, or because Lynne Cheney downplays her own accomplishments to suit the position she is in. But the point is, we too often we forget the formidable talents of the current Vice President's wife. She is extremely intelligent, and she knows what she is doing. And here, she is creaming Wolf Blitzer for CNN's appalling news coverage. As she says, "there is a difference between news and terrorist propaganda."
It is a pity CNN doesn't recognize the difference.

Spelling corrected--thanks for being charitable in the way you noted it. You must not blog around these parts very often. In my defense, the Drudge Report had it as "Lynn" last night, as did a number of other sources I checked.
As for Lynne getting more airplay, I really see no reason for her to hold back now. It is 6 years in, and her husband isn't running for anything (which is a pity). Perhaps it's time for Lynne Cheney to be our next Elizabeth Dole, and run for something herself?
Why is the CNN reporter who sat with the sniper who was zeroing in on our troops not considered complicit or an accomplice to attempted murder?

I agree. She is really a power that should get more airplay.
More people should correct CNN people right on air (like she did with the 'broken' government comment).
Now please go back and edit the post title. It weakens your point if you misspelllll (which I do often). You are fairly high up on the Technorati search just now.
