Yet another reason not to like Ron Paul's foreign policy...

...trade ties with Castro's Cuba.
And: What's dumber, actually ending the embargo now, or telling an Hispanic audience in Florida that you want to end the embargo now?

Well, the Cuban trade embargo WAS in effect between 1980 and 1989. So it is the exact opposite of what Mr. Paul advocates now.
As for the China, former Soviet/Warsaw Pact question, I don't understand what you are asking.
What's the difference between Cuba and China/Russia?
If we trade with them, why not Cuba?
So you're not supposed to tell the truth unless it is in a convenient setting?

Please explain how our foreign policy with China, the former Soviet Union, and the former Warsaw Block would be different. And please explain how this policy either furthered or cut short the tyranny imposed upon the people of these countries. Finally please explain how the Republican foreign policy strategy from the 1980 election to 1989 is different from what Mr. Paul now advocates for Cuba.
